the original Linnean specimen (called Myosotis scorpioides L. alpha arvensis) is missing from the Linnean collections - the specimen on the herbarium sheet belongs to another species with peduncles shorter than the calyx; in the small part of collection which remained in Sweden there is only the type of Myosotis scorpioides L. beta palustris (M. palustris (L) Hill.
